This is a joke. This is in no way Mexican food. I know its Japan, and there arent a lot of authentic Mexican restaurants around, but this was insulting. Not only are the meals barely fitting the cuisine style, but the food is too expensive, small portions and taste was bland. Where are the spices??

Authentic Mexican Food Experience

I love this place, it’s spacious and has the best virgin margaritas. Their combo plates are a good price for what you get. Took off one star for the tacos, those need to be improved.

Recent changes to the menu have made this restaurant a bit unattractive. Vegetable fajitas where 3/4 are potatoes are priced at 2000 JPY for lunch seems tad expensive. Kids menu where the portions and number of the condiments have been reduced keeping the price the same are also uninviting.

Spacious, delicious food and good service

Great fresh food, excellent service, nice selection of drinks and deserts. I really like this place because they make their own tortillas, salsa, guacamole... etc. Very nice atmosphere at a good price.

I've been here multiple times. The food is decent, but they need to work on their spices. If you are looking for a good meal, I'd suggest this place. If you are looking for a great Mexican restaurant, this is not what you are looking for. The fajitas, along with some of the other dishes are bland. The chicken salad is very good as well as their combo meals. Overall, it's a place with good quality food at decent prices.

The food served was awesome in an equally well maintained ambiance. Most importantly there are veg variety available. To a surprise they had food menu available in Hindi

Food tastes good, variety is ample, but you can tell it's pre made frozen stuff. Service is slow and staff a bit unintuitive.The tortillas are nice though and pricing is reasonable. It's not bad

Cool for some vegetarian options

Amazing experience. Kind and caring staff combined with delicious Mexican food. The restaurant is easy to find with an authentic Mexican atmosphere inside. Wait times and minimal and menu is easy to navigate. Would recommend highly for locals or tourists

Authentic Mexican FoodI have tried Mexican food at various restaurants but I found EL TORITO is one of the best, I was never disappointed here.

Truly great Mexican food. The tortilla soup was not spicy or tangy enough (could be my preference) but the Choriso was. Beef Fajitas were excellent. Greatly recommended for anyone who loves Mexican food. Enjoy.

Really good ambience and environment here. The music is authentic and food tastes authentic too! They have a nice wraparound booth for seating that is good for groups.They have an interesting service where they make the guacamole in front of you and also they have "flambee" dishes they set on fire in front of you! When we came, someone was having a birthday and the waitresses brought over dessert and Sombreros! The overhead music also changed to a "happy birthday" tune, so it would be a great opportunity for bringing family and friends!I gave 4 stars because the service was a bit slower than I would have liked. At first, they did get my order wrong, but they were nice about it and fixed it right away when I brought it to their attention.

Ambiance, staff and food was good.

I love the ambience and food at this place. I really enjoyed the fajita, especially as you can order refills of the tortilla that comes with it. May take a while for the dishes to come so order beforehand. Also, wide selection for drinks.There is also free parking.

Chicken dishes here are delicious. Not much variety in seafood, only shrimp. Other dished are beef and pork which are out of my radar. But the nishi kasai branch has separate veg food menu for Indians, that it really appreciated. (More ever, this is in hindi language). Also they offer you veg tacos complimentary, one per table.

Good Mexican restaurant. Reminds me of a US chain. Large restaurant with plenty of seating, tables/booths and everything you would really expect, to include Mexican beers and margaritas. The food was good, especially since finding Mexican food in Japan can be a challenge. The table-side guacamole was the best.

Good for family and several menu items to choose from.
